The New Year’s Eve Eve Party 2019
Get started celebrating 2020 a little early this year with DVC. The New Year’s Eve Eve Party is on Monday, December 30th at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
The Aladdin-inspired celebration will feature a full menu of savory dishes and sweets, a DJ, Disney character visits, games, and a special viewing location of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
DVC New Year’s Eve Eve Party Pricing
Guests 21 and Up | $95.00 plus tax and gratuity |
Guests 21 and Under | $82.00, plus tax and gratuity |
Keep in mind that Disney dining plans cannot be used for the party. Party sizes are limited to DVC members plus five guests (only six people per party). Also, guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying participating parent or guardian.
Disney New Year’s Eve Parties
For the big night, there will be celebrations aplenty across multiple Disney World theme parks. Boogie with DJs, fireworks, food and exclusive events.
Magic Kingdom Park
Head straight to Frontierland and Tommorland for some dancing. Depending on your aesthetic, you can grab your “pardner” for a good two-step and tappin’ music. Or, take to Tomorrowland for futuristic, bumping beats. Both parties will be held on December 30th and December 31st, so if you’re avoiding some crowds, keep that in mind!
Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks
If you want a great view of the fan-favorite fireworks show, make sure you grab it early! Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will illuminate the night sky December 30th and December 31st.
Epcot
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with Disney—all around the world. Ring in the new year multiple times as guests gather at each country’s pavilion. Take in the variety of all the dancing, music and cuisines.
Epcot Forever Fireworks Show
Before the countdown to 2020, gather around the World Showcase Lagoon to view the Epcot Forever lights show. A special New Year’s Eve display will enchant visitors as they watch the vibrant colors and spectacular fireworks.
Hollywood Studios
Blast into space at Star Tours before the midnight countdown and fireworks show. With so many new attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll have plenty of exciting things to do while you wait for the new year.
Animal Kingdom Park
Live DJs will keep the night fun and festive throughout Discovery Island, DinoLand U.S.A and Asia. Animal Kingdom will stay open until midnight, with specially-themed food and beverages! Instead of a booming fireworks show, gather at the Tree of Life for an extra special midnight countdown as it lights up in vibrant, beautiful colors.
Disney Springs
Disney Springs is the place to be on any given night for shopping, tons of dining options, drinking and live entertainment. There won’t be any fireworks displays here, but this might be a pro for those deterred by loud noises.
Disney Resort Celebrations
If the packed parks are keeping you from going out for the night, don’t fret! DVC owners and visitors can experience a dazzling evening at most of the resorts hosting special celebrations. New Year’s Eve with Disney doesn’t have to mean spending the night in a park.
Riviera Resorts’ Mezzanotte at Topolino’s: An Italian Masquerade
This might be the place to be for Disney’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. The brand-new Riviera Resort features a stunning rooftop restaurant and viewing location of the fireworks. This year, they are hosting the first-ever Mezzanotte at Topolino’s: An Italian Masquerade.
Get dressed up in your favorite suit or dress, complete with your own custom mask. The event is held in the elegant rooftop restaurant, complete with buffet displays and good stations.
Don’t forget to head back the following morning (or afternoon!) for a New Year’s Day Character Brunch with Mickey and Friends.
Disney Countdown to Midnight at the Contemporary Resort
Starting at 8 PM on December 31st, this experience offers guests a dazzling siorée at Disney’s Contemporary Resort convention center. Held in the Fantasia Ballroom, dance to music that spans from the ’60s to today. Watch award-winning Disney chefs as they create “cheftainment” behind animated shadowboxes, and indulge in their cuisines.
On the menu: barbeque-spiced wild Florida shrimp and grits with cherrywood-smoked bacon, pan-seared sablefish with leek fondue and cassis red wine reduction. Or, marvel at the culinary sorcery of a New York strip steak, served with fingerling potatoes, baby spinach, fried capers and maple bordelaise sauce. Make sure to save room for dessert, too, with chocolate-raspberry crème brûlée and Florida Key lime bar with toasted meringue, raspberry and passion fruit.
When you’re stuffed from the amazing food, dance those calories away with the New Year’s Eve Bash Band. When the countdown to midnight begins, gather with the rest of the guests outside for a toast and exclusive view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
BoardWalk Villas Countdown to 2020
We all love and cherish the charming atmosphere of the BoardWalk Villas. Inspired by Atlantic City and Coney Island, enjoy the usual carnival games and boutique bakeries. For this Disney New Year’s celebration, dance the night away with a live DJ, a confetti drop with a champagne toast, and pictures with Mickey and friends (dressed to impress, of course).
The balconies on the first and second floors will give guests an extra special viewing of the fireworks show at Epcot. Don’t forget to dress up for the event, because there will be a dress code to preserve the elegance of the atmosphere.
