Fun additions this year include Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks hosted by Minnie Mouse, and four of the Magic Kingdom attractions will be enhanced just for the holidays. Starting in early November and running through December, this holiday special is one you won’t want to miss. DVC Resale Prices Are Always Changing!
As you might have noticed from the data above, it is nearly impossible to predict what DVC resales will sell for each month. We had some resorts that went down in value and some resorts that went up. The resale prices of almost every resort have increased from their average per-point prices in 2021, regardless of the month-to-month changes. September 2022’s average DVC resale price per point was $136.23, while September 2021’s average was $130.73.
There can be several factors that affect the asking price per point for every sale. According to the average resale price per point for 2022, DVC resale prices are still rising. It is important to note that this doesn’t necessarily mean that all contracts will sell at or above the average; it varies case by case.
Your price per point when selling your DVC point depends on the immediate availability of your points or even how many points you receive every year. In addition, any pending reservations can also affect the selling price per point.

Although buying on the DVC resale market might save you a substantial amount of money in comparison to purchasing directly from Disney, there are pros and cons to both. Disney Vacation Club is a fabulous vacation brand option, but ultimately, it is your decision whether or not it is worth it. Restrictions on DVC resale may deter you from purchasing resale, so keep up to date on all restrictions. As Disney Vacation Club expands resorts and increases direct prices per resort, it can affect the resale market long-term. However, it is a good idea to add DVC points to your existing membership by buying them on the secondary market.
