No doubt about it – the answer is yes! You can save thousands of dollars on a resale compared to buying direct. Needless to say, getting the same great amenities and accommodations for a much lower price makes these resales a great deal.

Timeshare resales are cheap compared to the retail price of a timeshare at a resort mainly because of the costs associated with selling a new timeshare at the resorts.

Resorts spend a large amount of money to bring people to their resorts in order to sell timeshares. Those marketing costs and sales commissions are recovered from buyers in the price of the timeshare offered at the resort. Removing those additional costs goes a long way in bringing down the cost of a resale.

Timeshare resales compare very favorably with hotel stays because of the lower price point of entry. A timeshare resale purchased at $10,000 with an average maintenance fee of about $1,000 a year would cost an owner an average of about $1,500 a year over a 20 year period for a week of timeshare. That’s $214 a night for staying in what could be a two-bedroom, condo-style unit with separate living room and dining area and all the conveniences of home, but at a resort! That’s a pretty great deal compared to piling into a cramped hotel room with only a few amenities.

Bottom line – if you love taking an annual vacation and want the best types of accommodations with some of the best hospitality names in the world, buy a timeshare on the resale market and enjoy a lifetime of unforgettable vacations.

First, we don’t take upfront fees to sell timeshare, so owners don’t have to worry about paying for services that are not rendered. We work on commission-only, so we only get paid after a sale is closed and the timeshare is transitioned to the new owner. We also handle all of the negotiations and paperwork so timeshare resale sellers and buyers don’t have to get bogged down with the details. For sellers, we do the negotiating and bring you the offers to choose from. For buyers, we bring you the choices you want without you having to search the internet for the best deal. We protect the process by placing monies in escrow and work with the closing company for a smooth sale process.

Plus, as a featured reseller of Wyndham Vacation Ownership, WorldMark by Wyndham and Capital Vacations, we have the support of industry professionals you can trust.
